Artists: Breathe Carolina
Label: Spinnin’ Records
Release date: 17 February 2017
Earlier this year, Breathe Carolina and IZII came out with a powerful lament to “the one that got away” with “Echo (Let Go),” an emotive and melodic gem peppered with chilled-out basslines. If the original track had you feeling a little downtempo, look no further than Max Styler‘s new remix. The Dim Mak protégé has given “Echo (Let Go)” a funky, future bass facelift, complete with video-game inspired sound effects. If music is representative of the phases of getting over a lost love, Max Styler‘s remix moves full force into the “recovery-by-partying” mode: his version is well-suited for the club and festival circuit, and will no doubt be in heavy rotation this spring and summer. The “Echo (Let Go)” remix will be released on Spinnin’ Records and follows Styler‘s “Heartache” remix package earlier this year
Breathe Carolina has been a household name since their inception in 2007, and their collaboration with IZII on the original “Echo (Let Go)” has further bolstered the careers of both artists. IZII‘s has only recently appeared on the scene as an anonymous act, but has been making waves with remixes out on Armada and Spinnin‘ Records. Max Styler signed with Steve Aoki‘s famed Dim Mak record label when he was only 18 years old, making him one of the youngest producers to be signed on such an esteemed record label at the time. The San Luis Obispo, California native has exploded onto the scene with his first EP, “Aftershock,” which came out on Dim Mak in 2015 to rave reviews; the title track was chosen as a Sirius XM BPM “Breaker.” 2017 is shaping up to be a phenomenal year so far for Styler; his most recent release “Roller Coaster” rose to number three on the Beatport charts during its first week. If his current track record says anything, Max Stylerisn’t slowing down anytime soon, so stay posted for more coming up from this young rising star.
