We had the opportunity to interview “ Manyfew” Djs as follow :

1.Tell us more about… your influences, ? how was you beginnings etc?

We started as DJs playing at local clubs in Sweden. We got into music pretty
early, we were influenced by the music taste of our family. At the time our uncle was a DJ in Sweden and he inspired us to start DJing. Later on we bought our first DAW and we started to produce a couple of own tracks and really enjoyed it. We sent those tracks out to some DJs & A&R’s and received good feedback, and that inspired us to spend more time in the studio.

We love listen to a wide range of musical genres, for example we like to listen to a mix of 90s house, synth-pop, funk to urban and today’s pop music so think we are inspired by a bit of everything.

2. Tell us, what kind of collaborations do you have in mind in the future or maybe some new tracks?

We have a lot of exciting stuff coming up in 2018. We’re working on new music and have some really cool collaborations coming up together with talented singers. We love being in the studio and produce new songs. Our upcoming song is still a bit of a secret…we can’t wait to show you all, so keep an eye out!

3.-Do you think something is missing in electronic music these days?

Well, electronic music will never be completed we feel. There’s always going to be a place for new cool music, even though it’s many sub genre’s existing already. We believe that there will always be a place for new styles. People are open minded to listen to new music we think.

We love listen to music we haven’t heard before and that’s something we always are looking for to add in to our live gigs. It’s nice to play something that people haven’t heard, we think that keep things more interesting as well 🙂

4.-if you were not a DJ or producer, what are you doing right now?

Oh, that’s a good question! We have always had a strong love for music so it’s hard to say what else we should have done. We both love to travel so probably we should have been pilots, lol.

5.-what’s the most funniest thing that you have had in a presentation?

We both have very similar voices and sometimes when we have phone interviews with radio stations for examples it can be a bit tricky. Often they think that only one of us is chatting, lol.

6.-What do you say to all the new young generation who want to dedicate into this

genre?

Have fun and try to do your own thing! Maybe it sounds like a cliché but there’s definitely a reason why so many producers have said it before.

7. Do you think that is the same produce a track in your lap top at home etc or in a professional studio?

Well, sound wise we don’t think there’s any difference at all, really. Obviously big desks like SSL or Neve can add a character to the mix but the virtual plugins sounds so good nowadays so you can reach great results with just working in the box. A big studio can be good if you need to record an orchestra or a rock band for example. But for producing electronic music a home studio works fine, the sound can also be more personal we think, plus it’s wonderful to be able to have your studio with you wherever you are in the world. All you need is just a laptop and a pair of headphones 🙂

8.-if we say Mexico , you think in : _______

Delicious food, beautiful beaches, and the big city Mexico City. Also we know that Mexico have a very dedicated crowd when it comes to electronic music.

9.- few words for your fans in México ?

We would like to say muchas gracias for all the support we have received, we really appreciate that! This year we have some cool things coming up so be sure to follow us on our social media 🙂
