LAS VEGAS – More than 400,000 passionate festival goers came together in Las Vegas this past weekend, June 17-19, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) – a milestone year in dance music. The momentous, sold-out 20th edition of EDC came to a close at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Monday morning as fireworks lit up the Electric Sky above dance music fans from around the world as they experienced the brand new, redesigned festival landscape complete with eight innovative stage designs, stunning new art installations, beautifully costumed theatrical performers and nightly, jaw-dropping firework displays.

EDC attendees experienced the debut of the new kineticTEMPLE stage, encompassing an ancient temple of the owl community and surrounded by technology of the future. Spanning 446 feet wide and standing 95 feet tall, The Tree of Imagination served as a novel centerpiece, celebrating life, creativity, and the memories upon which EDC was built. The kineticTEMPLE lineup included unprecedented sets from the likes of Alesso, Anna Lunoe, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Dada Life, Hardwell, Jauz, The Magician and more.

Throughout the weekend, kineticTEMPLE also delivered multiple surprise performances, including a crowd serenade from John Legend, who performed “All of Me” and his brand new track “Summer Nights” on stage with Tiesto Sunday night. In addition, Moby made an appearance on Friday night and Robin S. performed on Saturday, both taking part in a meaningful midnight ceremony celebrating the unity of the dance music community through iconic EDC visuals and a vibrant fireworks show.

On Friday night, fans lounging under the beautiful, wooden SkyBridge art installation were treated to a surprise performance by Kaskade, playing a classic Redux set until sunrise. Perched on the vast grassy field, cosmicMEADOW, hosted by Audiotistic, took fans on a journey through an eclectic mix of live music formats, from electronic and hip-hop to turntabilsm at its finest, including sets from Zedd, Flux Pavilion, Knife Party, Marshmello, Hannah Wants and more.

EDC Las Vegas delivered a weekend filled with entertainment that went well beyond the stages.  Festival goers were immersed in a carnival experience that featured games and 18 full-scale rides, including Big Splash Water Flume – the newest and most popular attraction. Guests wandered through a sprawl of mock shops and vendors in the bustling EDC Town, and 14 whimsical art cars wove their way through the crowd each day. Along Rainbow Road, Headliners could scale through the 46-foot long jungle gym known as Jejunum, emitting a glowing light through each of its winding, steel ribs.

New additions to EDC Las Vegas’ VIP offerings included dedicated viewing areas at four different stages and at neonGARDEN, a dedicated lounge with plush day beds. Additionally, the tradition of love continued with couples celebrating their commitment to each other during vow renewals and legal wedding ceremonies within EDC’s two new wedding chapels, located inside EDC Town.
